Class Descriptions:
Keiki (ages 5-9) - This class is for children who have little, to no experience. Keiki will learn the basic steps of hula and other Polynesian dance styles. They will also learn ʻoli, stage presence, and dance choreography. Performance opportunities are available.
Pre-Teen/Teen (ages 9-15) - Teens will learn and refine the basic steps of hula and other Polynesian dance styles (if registered in the Tahitian intro). They will also learn ʻoli, stage presence, and dance choreography. Performance opportunities are available.
Tuesday Hula- Dive into the mastery of basic hula steps. Learn, refine, and master basic hula steps, stage presence, dance choreography, and ʻoli. Performance opportunities are available!
Beginner Hula- Break into the world of hula! This class focuses on basic hula movements, protocols, and knowledge. Students will learn 'oli and light choreography.
Polynesian Dance- This class will explore other island dances of the Pacific. We will learn and continue to cover basic steps, dances, and necessary skills from the islands of Tahiti, Samoa, and New Zealand. This is a heart-pumping class where we suggest full-body mobility.
Tehani's Company- This class is invite only. Members will learn more advanced choreography, go into depth with stage presence, and have the opportunity for multiple professional shows!
